Nozzles operating at lower pressure are designed specifically not to damage paints, ablative or anti-fouling coatings, or soft or fragile surfaces. Examples of objects cleaned with the lower pressure nozzles include fiberglass boat hulls, fish farm or aquaculture netting, and pressure or sonar transducers. Nozzles operating at relatively higher pressures are designed to remove paint or other coatings for applications requiring inspection of bare metal surfaces.
